Volunteers helping to improve our community

March 28,

A group of homeowners came out on a Saturday and gave their time and effort to help improve the community by preparing grounds for new landscaping, planting flowers, and even cleaning the pool!

The BPOA landscape committee is looking for more volunteers to help out with planning and with hands-on work, typically on Saturday mornings. Anyone interested can contact Jane [jane.tejada@sbcglobal.net] or Susan [susan_i_wilson@yahoo.com].

Right now, their efforts are on improving the area in front of unit #245 (Blgd L), and are waiting for the rains to abate to that the soil will be dry enough for tilling.

Below are some photos of our dedicated volunteers at work:

Special election results

Dear homeowners and residents,

We want to say thanks to all of the people who sent in their proxies and who attended the recent special meeting to elect members of the Board. In the end, we were able to collect enough proxies and votes to achieve a quorum for the election. There were seven people who volunteered to be candidates for the Board, and the following five were elected to the five open positions:

Rusty Jewell
Yangyang Hao
Amol Pednekar
Tertius Carstens
Nathan Hagen

The five directors elected will agree among each other which two will serve for 1-year terms and which three for 2-year terms.
